Committee’s recommendation on slow play
Play ready-golf on the tee – do not wait for player with the honours, and short hitters should hit off first to enable them to move promptly off the tee for their second shots.
International Teams Result:
We had 11 players asserting Australian birth vs 12 players assumed to have foreign birth. The 11 Aussies scored an average of 32.5 points and the foreigners scored an average of 29.4 points giving the Aussies a home victory by the narrowest of margins. If one player scoring 37 points had been correctly classified as a foreigner, the scores would have been 32.1 to 30.0!
