Congratulations to Barry Boyd and Stephen Thomas who carded only 27 putts each on the Old Course on 12 February. Stephen Thomas also took out the best gross for the day with 86 and came second on count-back for best net score – our other Stephen Parkinson took our first place with gross 97 and net 67 – he can expect a handicap adjustment!
The real (??) winners of the day were David Lynn (who ducked off before we could get him on camera), Graham McHarrie and David Connor who must have spent a lot of time on the greens carding scores of 38 putts each – their photo is now shown below – L-R David Connor, Graham McHarrie & David Lynn:
The next stroke and putts competition is on 7 June, so the trio of trophy winners will be able to display it for 38.67 days each.
