 The West Charity Shield
The annual team competition between Westside GC and West Coast GC resulted in a convincing win for West Coast. Each team fielded 15 players with West Coast scoring an average of 32.33 points, more than 2 points higher than Westside. 12 of our 15 players scored 31 points or above, an outstanding team effort with Bruce Morrison leading the way on 38 points and overall winner.

As an aside, the current shield goes back to 2002. Since that time both Westside and West Coast have been winners 10 times with 1 draw back in 2010. This is also the third year in a row that we have come out on top, and this year contributed $215 to The Children’s Leukemia Foundation.
