Gerry Gillett Perpetual Trophy 4-Club Stableford played 8 December 2017:
Winner Colin Glendenning, gross 102, net 67 – 39 points
on count-back from Ian Webb, gross 82, net 67 – 39 points

Jock Oehlers Match Play Competition
First round winners 23 Feb, David Connor (bye), Jimmy Chong (1 up over Alan Smith), Alan Dale (1 up over Doug McCauley), Graham Guy (on c/b over Mike Spencer), Frank Shannon (2 up, 1 to play over John Allen), Ron Bensky (2 up over Garth Irvine), Gerry Gillett (3 up and 2 to play over John Campbell), and Brian Hills (3 up and 2 to play over Barry Boyd).
Semi-finalists 26 Feb, David Connor (2 up and 1 to play over Jimmy Chong), Alan Dale (on c/b over Graham Guy), Frank Shannon (5 up and 4 to play over Ron Bensky), and Gerry Gillett (3 up and 1 to play over Brian Hills)
Finalists decided 2 March, David Connor (walk-over from Alan dale) and Frank Shannon (4 up and 2 to play from Gerry Gillett)
Final winner on 6 March – Frank Shannon over David Connor (level after 18 holes, decided on replay of 17th hole)

Cecil McPhee Trophy
Winner – Rick Lazar with 42 points (subject to committee approval due to low turnout of players)
The competition was played under cold, cloudy and occasionally wet conditions on 3 August 2018, so Rick’s score of 91 off the stick, 42 points (15 McPhee points plus 27 handicap) and a net of 64 makes him a worthy winner of the trophy.

Pairs Championship
Winners – Ron Bensky and Tom McClain
The Pairs Championship was played in very cool conditions on both days over 36 holes on the Tuart Course on 14 and 17 September 2018, as a stableford best ball competition.  Tom and Ron had rounds of 41 and 48, totalling 89 points, with second place going to Rick Lazar and Alan Smith with 87 points (41 and 46) and third place to David Morell and Richard Russell with 85 points (41 and 44).

Hole-in-One 8 October 2018 
Spencer Percival scored a hole-in-one on the Tuart Course 3rd hole on 8 October 2018.

Annual Club Championship
The championships were completed over three playing dates in October 2018 with the play-offs for champion on 29 October.  The Keith Minkey Club Open Champion was Gerry Gillett – play-off round score of 89 (3 under his age) after the three finalists scored 184 off the first two rounds.  Gerry is our oldest active player aged 92.
Runners up – Grant Saunders 92 and Ian Webb 97
Club handicap champion – Brian Hills  with a net score of 137 over two rounds
Club B Grade Champion (handicaps 23 and over) – Richard Dongray  with a score of 191 over two rounds
The best B Grade player was Gerry Gillett with a score of 184 over two rounds, but the rules prevent him winning two prizes.
