Match Report attached
Today’s scoring was challenging.  The Wembley Golf printer failed, so many of us had to score using the pre-printed cards.  Accordingly, we had to load the scores to Golflink manually and the attached scoresheet from Golflink does not identify count-back order.

Par competitions often result in lots of countbacks and when we did the count-back for second, we overlooked John Allen’s score which was even on both nines.  He should have won the count-back for second place because each of John Stone, Bruce Morrison and Ray Parry had -1 on the second nine.  Bruce had a birdie on 15 and was even on both the last 6 and the last 3, so came 3rd after John.  Ray was even on the last 6 but -1 on the last 3 so came 4th after Bruce, whereas John Sone’s -1 was on the last 6 so he came 5th.  He needs to hand his prize to John Allen and Bruce can keep his 3rd place. – the scorers apologise profusely!!
