The club championship was played over two rounds – the first on Friday 23 October 2020 on the Old Course, and the second on Monday 26 October on the Tuart Course. Both rounds were played under mild sunny conditions, with the courses in good condition. Alan Smith was the leader after round one with a superb round of 79 gross, 64 net, beating his age by 4 strokes and the closest competitor by 5 strokes. Alan could not maintain the pace on Monday and finished second in the club championship to Darren Lloyd, whose 84 gross on Friday was followed by 83 on Monday. Alan scored 89 on Monday. In B Grade, Bruce Morrison was the clear leader of the field on both days – 90 on Friday and 96 on Monday, beating Graham McHarrie into second place – Graham had scores of 95 and 98. Alan took out the handicap championship after his outstanding Friday round of net 64 and net 76 on Monday. President Richard Russell and David Lynn were close behind with combined nets of 141, and they were followed by Mike Spencer (143), Graham McHarrie (143), and John Stone (145).
