Fergus McDuff changes hands again 13 Feb 2023

The club competition on 13 February was stroke and putts,pl ayed on the Old Course is in hot sunny conditions.  The stroke winner was Mike Spencer with a net 69, followed home by Graham Guy 71 and Tony Fisk 72.  Alan Smith had the least putts – 27. Four players tied with 36 putts each for the most putts – John Campbell, Tom Guthrie, Graham McHarrie and Steve Parkinson. The Fergus McDuff Trophy was awarded to Tom Guthrie who, on count-back, had the most putts on the second nine.  The photo shows previous holder of the trophy, Mike Spencer (left), presenting it to Tom Guthrie under the supervision of Captain Tom McClain (right).
