Fergus McDuff Trophy – most putts 10 September 2021

On Friday 10 September 2021, a beautiful spring day, which was bathed in warm sunshine with the odd cloud to keep temperatures reasonable, the club payed a stroke and putts competition on the Old Course. The stroke competition went to Garth Irvine with a net two-under-par round of 70, 4 shots clear of the closest rival.  The putting completion was a tie between our president, Richard Russell and Steve Huckle who both carded 28 putts for the round, closely followed by John Campbell and Mike Spencer with 29 putts apiece.  The award of the Fergus McDuff putting trophy for the least successful putter on the day went to treasurer Graham Guy with 37 putts.
